The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a property, ensuring that it meets financial and operational goals while complying with relevant laws and company policies. This role involves managing staff, handling budgets, and maintaining resident satisfaction.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned property.
  • Analyze financial statements and develop budgets for the property.
  • Set rent rates and ensure timely collection of rent and fees.
  • Approve invoices from vendors and manage communication regarding payments.
  • Control expenditures and maintain the petty cash fund.
  • Oversee lease enforcement processes and conduct apartment inspections.
  • Implement marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Respond to resident complaints and ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Supervise property staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Assist in managing client/owner relationships and provide property performance updates.
  • Proven experience in property management or a related field.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze budgets and financial reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
  • Experience with property management software.
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies for residential properties.
  • Certifications in property management or real estate.
