The Community Manager at Overture Fair Ridge is responsible for managing and coordinating the team members, daily activities, and resources of the community to achieve financial and operational goals. This role ensures compliance with Company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other laws and regulations governing multi-family and senior housing operations. The Community Manager promotes resident satisfaction and retention by building a strong community culture among residents and team members, responding promptly to resident concerns, and conducting regular team meetings to assist in the completion of responsibilities.

  • Recruit and oversee hiring, onboarding, and training of team members.
  • Manage performance and professional development of team members.
  • Promote resident satisfaction and retention by building a strong community culture.
  • Respond promptly to resident concerns, complaints, questions, and requests.
  • Conduct interactive Daily Huddles and meet regularly with team members.
  • Supervise sales activities to achieve community's revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Represent the community and the company in the greater community.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret local market and economic trends.
  • Conduct daily community inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness.
  • Provide input into the development of budget(s) for the community.
  • Meet targeted revenues by setting rent rates and ensuring timely collection.
  • Oversee the lease enforcement process.
  • Assist the Regional Operations Manager with client/owner relationships.
  • Complete various accounting, financial, administrative, and other reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal information concerning residents and staff.
  • Monitor social media advertising and reputation management accounts.
  • Experience in property management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and market trends.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
  • Experience in sales and marketing within the real estate sector.
  • Familiarity with property management software.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
