About The Position

The Community Manager at Commons on Kinnear is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the property, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and achieving financial and operational goals. Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management or a related field.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.

  • Certifications in property management or real estate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the property, including team management and resource allocation.
  • Develop and analyze budgets, financial statements, and operational reports to meet targeted revenues.
  • Approve vendor invoices and manage communication between vendors, accounting, and clients.
  • Oversee lease enforcement processes, including resident applications and evictions.
  • Establish relationships with housing and student affairs officials to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Analyze market trends to implement marketing and leasing strategies for occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Supervise property staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Manage client/owner relationships through property tours and performance updates.
