About The Position

As a Community Maintenance Technician at Zekelman Industries in Marble Falls, TX you will play a key role in ensuring the physical upkeep, safety, and functionality of our residential apartment community. This position supports operational excellence by performing routine maintenance, repairs, preventive inspections, and responding to resident service requests. This role is perfect for someone who is technically skilled, proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a hands-on environment where maintaining safety and high-quality living standards is a top priority. This role is reporting to our site in Marble Falls, TX, FLATZ 830

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in general maintenance, preferably in a residential or commercial setting
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Technical Skills – Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and pool maintenance
Soft Skills – Strong problem-solving, organization, customer service, and teamwork abilities
Additional Qualifications – EPA Type II or Universal HVAC certification, Certified Pool Operator (CPO), OSHA Safety Training (preferred or obtainable within 90 days)
Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
Lifts, carries, pushes, or pulls up to 50 lbs.
Works in various weather conditions and both indoor and outdoor environments
Operates tools and maintenance equipment with precision and care

Responsibilities

Performs general maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair
Completes unit make-ready tasks according to company standards to support timely resident move-ins
Conducts preventative maintenance and safety inspections to ensure efficient building operations
Maintains cleanliness and curb appeal of common areas, grounds, and amenities
Responds to service requests and emergency calls, ensuring prompt and professional resolution
