About The Position

Looking for individuals/couples interested in developing an independent contract with New River Valley Community Services to provide residential support services to one or two adults with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral health diagnoses in their home. Responsibilities include providing individuals with personal care supports, community involvement activities, and skill building to promote independence, and general daily support while including them as a member of your family.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is required.
• Must have a driver's license and acceptable driving record.

• Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care supports to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral health diagnoses.
• Engage individuals in community involvement activities.
• Assist in skill building to promote independence.
• Offer general daily support to individuals, integrating them as a member of your family.
