About The Position

Skyline Center is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Full Time Community Living Coordinator in Clinton, IA. As a Community Living Coordinator, you will have the chance to make a difference in the lives of individuals with diverse abilities. This is an onsite position, which means you'll get to work closely with our clients in their homes and in the community. As a Community Living Coordinator at Skyline Center, you will play a crucial role in providing positive support and advocacy for the individuals we serve. You will have the opportunity to work closely with interdisciplinary teams, identifying and communicating any issues, concerns, or changes in functional status to develop proactive interventions that promote independence. In addition, you will assist individuals in accessing community resources and securing public assistance, ensuring that their funding and service needs are met. As a supervisor, you will also have the responsibility of monitoring and guiding direct support employees, ensuring that the service plan is implemented effectively. One of your key duties will be to develop and maintain schedules for our assigned employees, adjusting schedules to accommodate vacation, sick leave, and other absences. You will also ensure that all employees receive the necessary training as per our agency policy.

Requirements

  • Experience working with individuals with various levels of disabilities is also essential.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good driving record
  • Access to a privately owned and insured vehicle.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Service or a related field is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, along with at least 2 years of experience in the Human Services Field
