About The Position

The Nurse Inpatient Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering fundamental knowledge-based care to assigned clients while developing technical skills. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on age-specific components. This position assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care. The RN follows procedures per established policies and guidelines. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP).

Requirements

• Proficiency in basic written and spoken English.
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse.
• Possession of a current, full, active, and unrestricted registration for foreign nursing graduates.
• Ability to meet the basic education requirements for the grade held.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants as appropriate.
