About The Position

The Community Life Services Associate position at StoneRidge involves planning, coordinating, and directing a wide scope of social and recreational activities aimed at including all residents. The role requires flexibility in hours to cover events and trips during evenings and weekends. The associate will also arrange transportation for events, post information about activities, serve as a photographer at events, and maintain community newsletters. This position is integral to enhancing the lives of residents through engaging activities and programs.

Requirements

• High School Degree required.
• Some related college courses are a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Canva Publishing.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with arts & crafts.
• Experience with event planning.

Responsibilities

• Planning, coordinating and directing social and recreational activities for residents.
• Arranging transportation to events and programs.
• Posting and distributing information regarding events and activities.
• Serving as a photographer at events and trips.
• Recording the history of StoneRidge through scrapbooking and photo albums.
• Writing and gathering materials for the community newsletter.
• Ordering necessary supplies for activities.
• Teaching art and craft classes.
• Acting as a resource person for residents.
• Liaising with Resident Committees as needed.
• Encouraging residents to participate in community programs.
• Assisting residents in determining their activity levels.
• Preparing and maintaining required reports and records.
• Attending in-service training and education sessions.
• Performing specific duties as assigned by the Community Life Services Director.
