This philosophy prioritizes respect, dignity, and engagement, ensuring that each resident feels valued, understood, and supported. Moorings Park is looking for a Community Life Concierge. The Community Life Concierge supports the day-to-day experience of residents. This role helps bring the Best Friends™ Philosophy to life by fostering meaningful, person-centered connections with residents and their families. The Community Life Concierge ensures residents feel known, engaged, and supported by assisting with community programming, offering a compassionate presence, and communicating thoughtfully with both residents and team members. This position plays an essential role in promoting a warm, welcoming environment and reinforcing the community’s commitment to holistic well-being.

Requirements

Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required
During emergencies or natural disasters may be required to be on duty for the duration of the disaster.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Active Florida CPR certification is required within six months of employment.
Previous experience in senior living preferred.
Works in compliance with all HIPPA regulations and standards.
Adheres to a flexible work schedule which involves working evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Nice To Haves

College degree preferred.
Florida State Nursing Assistant Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Serves to support the overall resident experience, ensuring a warm, engaging, and person-centered environment.
Assists in the coordination and facilitation of life enrichment programs and activities that align with residents’ interests, abilities, and preferences, ensuring meaningful engagement.
Communicates effectively with nursing, dining, housekeeping, and other departments to relay resident needs, preferences, or concerns observed during shifts.
Provides hands-on support for resident activities, social interactions, and special events, adapting plans as needed to promote participation and inclusion.
Cultivates strong relationships with residents and families through active listening, empathy, and a commitment to dignity and respect.
Champions the Best Friends™ Philosophy by applying its principles in daily interactions, focusing on knowing each resident’s life story and fostering purposeful, relationship-centered engagement.
Documents and communicates relevant observations and resident updates to the Community Life Manager and interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and support.
Supports transitions such as new admissions, discharges, or room changes by helping residents and families feel welcomed and informed.
Maintains a safe, supportive environment by monitoring resident well-being and promptly reporting any changes in condition or behavior.
Follows all community policies and procedures, including confidentiality and HIPAA regulations, to protect resident information and uphold professional standards.
Collaborates with the Community Life Manager and household team to continuously improve the quality and personalization of resident life and engagement.
