Your day to day as a Community Life - Activity Director (Therapeutic Recreational Director) As the Community Life - Activity Director (Therapeutic Recreational Director) at The Oaks Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, your day-to-day expectations will involve designing, implementing, and evaluating recreational programs that cater to the diverse needs of residents. You will conduct assessments to understand individual preferences and abilities, ensuring tailored experiences that promote engagement and socialization. Daily responsibilities will include coordinating activities, leading group sessions, and collaborating with staff to create a supportive environment. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and inviting space for all residents. Regularly, you will meet with families and team members to discuss progress and solicit feedback, fostering a transparent and collaborative atmosphere. Your expected schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing you to fully engage with residents during peak activity times while balancing administrative duties.
