The Community Liaison will provide support and establish a trusting, meaningful relationship between parents and school/agency personnel. This role ensures that basic family needs are met, including food and clothing. The Community Liaison will determine the physical, medical, emotional, and educational needs of children and families, managing between 20 and 30 family assistance cases. This position will associate directly with parents, students, certificated staff members, and agency personnel, acting as a parent/family/child advocate when necessary. Responsibilities include ensuring attendance, accompanying families to appointments, assisting in completing forms, and following up on cases. This is a specially funded job classification.
