Ultimately, the Community Liaison will provide community education on the mission and goals of North Spring Behavioral Healthcare. Location: Beautiful Leesburg, Virginia, 40 miles Northwest of Washington DC. North Spring Behavioral Healthcare, Inc . is a multifaceted behavioral healthcare system comprised of three programs to serve children and adolescents with a broad spectrum of psychiatric service needs. Programs of service include an 87-bed, Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services licensed, Joint Commission accredited psychiatric residential treatment facility, a Partial Hospitalization Program, and a 40-bed acute psychiatric hospital. Requirements

  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Skills in public speaking and problem solution.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Public Relations/Business/Counseling or a social science related field (minimum).
  • 1+ years in a related healthcare field.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to company safety practices.
  • Must be able to operate a computer and review reports containing data with small print.
  • Must be able to travel by car and airplane, sitting for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift 30 pounds and carry small objects.

Nice To Haves

  • Psychiatric health care marketing experience preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience may be substituted for educational requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Director of Business Development in developing and implementing a strategic plan to promote the services offered at North Spring Behavioral Healthcare to all potential referral sources in a manner consistent with the mission and vision of the hospital.
  • Travels regionally to maintain a database of healthcare professionals.
  • Responsible for growing patient census by consistently exploring the development of new referral sources, maintaining and managing existing accounts, identifying referral source needs and tailoring services to meet those needs.
  • Coordinates with the Director of Business Development on-going updates of the Referral Source Data Base.
  • Coordinates with the Admissions Department efforts to follow up with all referral sources regarding referrals and admissions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
