The Position: The Community Leasing Specialist is the first point of contact with potential residents. They are responsible for meeting and greeting potential residents and providing general property information and outstanding customer service. The Community Leasing Specialist is the community sales representative who is responsible for properly securing lease agreements from qualified persons, marketing and maintaining positive resident relations.
Requirements
- 2 years of Property leasing experience
- Must be able to work Saturdays
- Excellent follow up skills via email and phone
Nice To Haves
- Resman and I Love Leasing experience preferred
- Bi-lingual a plus
- Marketing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with the appearance of the office, amenity area, models and common areas of the community
- Market the community effectively by answering questions, conducting tours, and promoting community amenities
- Ensure the model apartments and target apartments are ready for show
- Give tours of market ready units to potential residents
- Complete lease form agreement and collect rental deposit
- Have a thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications and all community policies
- Keep updated informational material and distribute to local businesses, apartment locators, etc
- Conduct regular “shopping” of competitive properties and remain knowledgeable of market conditions
- Perform all online marketing and respond to online leads
- Develop and maintain an on-going resident retention program under direction of Community Manager
- Maintain all resident and property files
- Conduct courteous and efficient handling of resident requests and complaints
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
