About The Position

If so, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBank) invites you to apply for our 2026 Summer Internship Program ! We’re looking for well-rounded, motivated students to join us for a 10-week paid internship where you’ll gain hands-on experience, build your professional network, and develop valuable skills in a dynamic business environment. What You’ll Experience As a Community Investment intern at FHLBank, you’ll: Collaborate with department managers to support various cross-functional projects. Conduct data analysis for multi-state needs assessments. Perform data mining and reporting for the AHP (Affordable Housing Program) project. Assist the CID department with outreach and marketing initiatives. Support additional departmental tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Apply strong problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate across teams and present analytical results effectively Contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study Gain exposure to the finance and banking industry Participate in team-building activities, a group project, a community service event, and professional development sessions (including dining etiquette!) Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking students who: Have completed at least their sophomore year of undergraduate studies. Graduate students are encouraged to apply. Are majoring in Urban Planning and Development, Economics, Real-Estate Development, or Business Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally Work well independently and in team settings Are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to solve problems Program Highlights 10-week paid internship: Monday, June 1 to Friday, August 7 Flexible hybrid workforce model: Onsite three days a week and two days remote. Requirements
