About The Position

The position involves completing intakes and orientation for new and readmitted clients into the program, screening clients for diversions, and inputting all client demographics into an internal database. The role serves as a liaison between social services and operations, scheduling and tracking client assessments, including medical and psychological evaluations. Additionally, the position requires escorting clients and assisting them with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), providing relief at various posts as needed, and offering emergency first aid/CPR assistance when necessary. Other related duties may be assigned as required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • CPR Certification or the ability to obtain certification required.
  • NYC Fire Safety Guard Certification or the ability to obtain certification required.
  • NYC Fire Safety Coordinator Certification preferred; must be willing to attempt to acquire certification.
  • Security guard license preferred; must be willing to attempt to acquire license.
  • Food Handler Certificate preferred; must be willing to attempt to acquire certification.
  • TB clearance when required.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others both in writing and orally.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries.
  • Basic computer literacy required.
  • Bilingual abilities a plus.
  • Vaccination preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
