This position will be responsible for administrative tasks and scheduling, assisting in daily office needs, and providing communications support for the entire Community Impact Team. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn. Autonomy & Decision-Making: Follows directions and refers all exceptions to supervisor Career Path: Various

Requirements

  • High School/GED or equivalent (Required)
  • 0-2 years’ experience in community relations, communications or administrative support (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, non-profit leadership or related field (Preferred)
  • In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the facilitation of the organization’s Community Impact strategy by providing administrative and communications support to the department, empowering employee engagement and strengthening relationships with community partners
  • Provides administrative support for department leadership including organizing and scheduling meetings, correspondence, travel arrangements, etc.
  • Creates, maintains, and updates various databases for tracking and reporting Community Impact data
  • Prepares various reports, forms, letters and other documentation used in the Community Impact function
  • Responds to routine questions on Community Impact activities and programs
  • Schedules and coordinates nonprofit partner tours for department
  • Supports aspects of Community Impact events including managing room reservations, coordinating catering orders, and tracking sponsored event participation and volunteer hours
  • Organizes the department’s supplies and workspaces
  • Assists Community Impact team with the reconciliation of donations and upload of tax receipts into donation management platform
  • Coordinates Community Impact section of company intranet including messaging, graphics and storytelling
  • Captures stories and images from Community Impact events and efforts
  • Assists with the creation of Community Impact newsletters and resources
