About the position

Join our fun, high-energy team as a Community Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending and put your exceptional knowledge and understanding of home lending products to good use by serving as your customers' chief point of contact throughout the life of the loan while the Home Lending team supports you by sharing demonstrated knowledge in this area of specialization. As a Community Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending, you will join a motivated team dedicated to guiding clients to fulfilling the dream of homeownership.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an active knowledge of Chase home lending products, as well as local housing assistance programs and grants available for down payment and/or closing cost assistance
  • Promote mortgage products to existing Chase customers and to other customers in the community, engaging with a pipeline of customers 'not mortgage ready' for home ownership through education and counseling processes until they are ready to apply
  • Act as the internal and external mortgage expert, conducting productive activities that promote mortgage loan originations with external relationships in the community
  • Partner with the branch team, providing training on products and services, meeting with their customers and introducing new clients to bankers for additional products and services
  • Create an outstanding customer experience by utilizing various marketing efforts including direct mail, media advertisements, and electronic newsletters
  • Serve as the single point of contact through the customer mortgage loan origination process, addressing customer concerns, explaining financial terms, coordinating with partners, and tracking progress from initial engagement to application through closing

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
  • Five years of proven mortgage sales experience including strong product, credit, and mortgage process knowledge
  • Understanding of Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Veterans Administration (VA), Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA), and Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (FHLMC) guidelines
  • Knowledge of real estate market in local area and the ability to build new external referral sources and networks
  • Track record of customer satisfaction as demonstrated in customer satisfaction scores and comments
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills for community outreach and homeowner education
  • Intermediate Personal Computer skills in a Windows environment
