About The Position

Provides health education and training, makes home visits, maintains records and educates clients and families on communicable diseases.

Requirements

  • High school education or general education degree (GED) and less than one year of specialized training or education.
  • An additional one-year work experience (in any field) is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets Cherokee Nation underwriting rating and be certified in CPR and First Aid.
  • Must be able to use a computer and standard office equipment.
  • Employee must not and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
