Supports the development of policies and procedures for the Safe Babies Approach - support for young children (0-3) and their families who are involved, or are at risk for involvement, in the child welfare system. Engages families early in the Safe Babies process and ensure that their input is valued throughout their journey. Networks and communicates with Community Coordinators in other Safe Babies communities. Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines. Coordinates and implements community-based programs that promote health, safety, and well-being for children and families. Facilitates collaboration, supports education and advocacy efforts, and ensures program effectiveness through strategic planning and continuous improvement.
