COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSE SUPERVISOR
About The Position
This position will assist the lead supervisor in the management and coordination of the school health program to ensure it operates within the context of local and state guidelines. This position will include daily telephone triage for school nurses and health room management. This position will provide problem/crisis intervention in accordance to MSDE School Health Guidelines and MDH policy,� and develop new school health program training, provide yearly in-services, and mandatory training. This position will provide in-person health room coverage in the event coverage cannot be arranged.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- One year of experience as a Community Health Nurse.
- Candidates for positions in this classification must possess a current license as a registered nurse from the Maryland State Board of Nursing, 4140 Patterson Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21215.
- Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
- Employees in this classification will be required to provide the facility with a telephone number at which they can be reached.

- Previous and/or current supervisory experience.
