About The Position

The Community Health Intern provides an opportunity in a structured learning environment to set and evaluate personal and professional goals and objectives plans that support DotHouse Health’s goals and realize its mission. Within this role, the Community Health Intern has valuable opportunities to interact with diverse professionals in the health field. The internship is dedicated to supporting early-career health professionals who are interested in primary care and community health. The internship will provide a learning environment with the opportunity for individuals to contribute meaningful work to the organization's mission.

Requirements

  • Early career professionals interested in medicine, public health, and health administration, including high school, bachelor’s, master’s, MD, NP/PA, RN, and pharmacy students.

Responsibilities

  • Activities may include but are not limited to patient engagement, quality improvement projects, public health programs assistance, chart review/data analysis, literature review, or operations support.
  • If possible, the project will include a deliverable that the intern completes by the end of the term which may include a presentation, report/dashboard, written assessment, or analysis.
