The Community Health Intern will support two priority projects for Weld County Health Education. The first is a landscape analysis of sexual health education curricula currently used across Weld County school and youth-serving organizations. The second is tobacco retail scans to identify gaps in retailer education and compliance with state tobacco sales laws, with the goal of reducing sales to minors. This is a student only role, ideal for someone interested in public health practice, health policy, community assessment youth prevention, and data-drive program improvement. The paid internship will be capped at 150 hours.
