Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Public health, health policy, statistics, information systems or a related field required.
  • 1 Years of experience with data analysis and reporting required.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis software, such as Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Advanced knowledge and use of existing software packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to gather, assemble, correlate, interpret and analyze complex data.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes in projects/processes.
  • Strong communication skills required to develop appropriate reports for different audiences.
  • Strong collaboration, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree Public health, health policy, statistics, information systems or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of creative design is a plus
  • Knowledge in using electronic medical record systems to extract reports

Responsibilities

  • Support evaluation efforts for a CHI grant program through effective qualitative and quantitative data management activities (e.g., collecting, integrating, cleaning, storing and analyzing).
  • Communicate evaluation findings through written reports, presentations, dashboards and other dissemination channels to diverse audiences, including Texas Health staff, funders, and community stakeholders.
  • Monitor data quality and performance trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with CHI grant staff and community partners to support evaluation efforts.
  • Maintain proficiency with analytic tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) and stay informed of evaluation best practices.
  • Contribute to assessment activities by gathering relevant data, conducting preliminary analyses, or developing assessment reports in response to grant related initiatives.
