Position Overview: As a Community Events Assistant, you will be a vital part of this mission infusing energy, creativity, and compassion into the daily lives of our residents. Requirements

  • Willing to function as a team member with a genuine desire to work with a geriatric population.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years' experience in an Adult Care Residence (ACR) or nursing home preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with facilitating a full array of activities, which are congruent with residents' needs and interests, and are designed to meet the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident in Vinson Hall.
  • Assists with special programs and events for Vinson Hall residents with a goal of enhancing the community spirit, providing entertainment, and in some cases raising community awareness of VH.
