About The Position

The Community Enhancement Director (“CED”) is a dedicated, on-site lifestyle and engagement professional supporting Vidas Way and Riverwood Estates, two mixed-age communities. This role is designed to elevate the resident experience, strengthen community identity, and enhance the overall market appeal of each community through high-quality programming, thoughtful coordination, and close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and HOA management. The CED focuses on community experience, visibility, and engagement—not covenant enforcement— while serving as a proactive liaison who helps protect and enhance the value, culture, and brand of each community.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in community engagement, lifestyle programming, hospitality, events, or residential property/HOA community roles (e.g., Lifestyle Director, Community Manager, Resident Experience).
  • Proven track record planning and executing recurring programming plus large-scale “signature” events (including budgeting, run-of-show, vendor contracting, permitting/COIs as needed, and post-event evaluation).
  • Experience partnering with Sales and Marketing teams to support prospect/realtor events, tours, activations, and initiatives that enhance community brand and marketability.
  • Demonstrated experience building and supporting resident clubs/interest groups, facilitating volunteer leaders, and coordinating with association/operations teams to align with amenity rules and guidelines.
  • Hands-on vendor and operations coordination experience (food trucks, instructors, facilitators, entertainment, rentals), with strong on-site execution, quality control, and stakeholder communication (residents, boards/HOA management, and service providers).

  • Supports two assigned communities with a consistent on-site presence
  • Scheduling flexibility to support evening and weekend events
  • Serves as a visible and approachable point of contact for residents, prospects, vendors, and partners

  • Enhances buyer experience and community market appeal
  • Assists with establishing and managing resident clubs and interest groups
  • Serves as liaison between club leadership and HOA management
  • Ensures alignment with community guidelines and amenity policies
  • Conducts regular site drives and walkthroughs
  • Observes common areas, amenities, landscaping, and presentation
  • Communicates observations to HOA management for follow-up
  • Does not perform enforcement or compliance actions
  • Acts as an additional set of eyes in the community
  • Alerts HOA management of potential issues for appropriate follow-up
  • Coordinates food trucks, fitness instructors, workshop facilitators, and event vendors
