About The Position
Community Relations Specialists are on the front lines of improving the lives of New Yorkers by connecting people to health-insurance products and resources that create greater health equity. Community Relations Specialists are bridge-builders, connecting communities to needed information that empowers them to live healthier lives. If you are motivated by the opportunity to create a healthier New York, particularly for the most vulnerable New Yorkers, we want to hear from you! To be successful, the right candidate must be a strategic thinker, comfortable with using data to drive decisions, and be creative in using a number of methods to achieve organizational and community objectives. The successful candidate will create and manage relationships with key community organizations and influencers, such as community-based organizations, schools, and faith-based organizations, among others. We are looking for people who are motivated to make a difference in their community by leveraging available resources strategically to improve people's lives.
