Under the direction of Aurora Water’s Public Relations Manager and in collaboration with the Manager of Education and Engagement, the Water Community Connections Coordinator develops and implements community engagement and water education initiatives that strengthen public understanding and trust in Aurora Water’s programs, policies, and infrastructure investments. This position supports Aurora Water’s efforts to proactively engage residents and stakeholders on emerging water challenges and initiatives, including conservation, drought response, water quality, water rates, Direct Potable Reuse (DPR), and major infrastructure projects such as the Wild Horse Reservoir Project. Working collaboratively with Aurora Water leadership and community partners, this role helps expand water literacy, gather community feedback, and foster meaningful relationships with Aurora residents and stakeholders. The position also supports two-way dialogue with the community to ensure Aurora Water programs and policies reflect community perspectives and concerns. This is a non-supervisory role.
