We are seeking an energetic and community‑focused Community Engagement Associate (or Community Development Representative) to represent our brand throughout the Dayton region and surrounding communities. This role focuses on building strong local relationships, generating leads, and promoting our services through direct engagement at events, retail partnerships, and community organizations. If you enjoy meeting new people, connecting with local groups, and being out in the community, this is an exciting opportunity to make an impact while supporting our sales team.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outgoing, confident, and comfortable engaging with the public.
  • Dependable, self‑motivated, and community‑minded.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by events.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in sales, marketing, communications, public relations, or community engagement.
  • Background in home services or related industries.
  • Prior involvement in community organizations or event coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Community & Event Engagement Identify, schedule, and participate in local events including home shows, festivals, and community gatherings.
  • Set up, staff, and manage company displays at events.
  • Build visibility and brand awareness through regular participation in groups such as: Chamber of Commerce BNI groups Rotary Clubs
  • Represent the company at Dayton Dragons and Rose Music Center events, including display setup, customer engagement, and appointment setting.
  • Partnership Development Serve as the primary contact for local retail partners, including Ace Hardware stores.
  • Make regular visits to partner locations, support store events, and maintain strong relationships with store teams.
  • Lead Generation & Sales Support Conduct follow‑ups, schedule appointments, and generate leads from community interactions.
  • Work closely with the local sales team and Sales Manager to support regional sales goals.
  • Identify new community opportunities and recommend engagement strategies.
  • Administrative & Office Responsibilities Attend one weekly in‑office meeting.
  • Complete required administrative tasks, scheduling, and event planning.
