About The Position
This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. This temporary position is located in 277 Commercial Dr., Suite A, Forest City 28043- Rutherford County. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $21.00(Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities listed within this vacancy announcement will be used only as management preferences and will be used to screen for the most qualified pool of applicants. Assist and support individuals currently earning subminimum wages who want to pursue competitive integrated employment (CIE) through the SWTCIE grant. This role includes coordinating prevocational services, job planning, supported employment, job development, intensive training, and long-term support.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in a Human Services field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience working with the population served; or High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of experience providing instruction to individuals with one or more disabilities, preferably involving task analysis; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
