Being An Employment Integration Specialist at Devereux Has Its Advantages! As an Employment Integration Specialist at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. Our Employment Integration Specialists: Coordinate and facilitate access to clients in the Community Adult Autism Partnership Program (CAAPP) and the Community Supported Employment Program (CSE). Ensure that authorizations for services are obtained and revised. Establish and maintain community-based sites to be utilized as vocational opportunities for assigned participants. Provide job assessment, career development, skill training and individualized support to participants Obtain, maintain and enhance community-based employment and social activities for participants Monitor service delivery, utilization and team cohesiveness Evaluate and use data to support the continuing need for services. About Us: Devereux's Community Adult Autism Partnership Program (CAAPP) provides social and vocational programs/services for young adults (21+ years) with Autism, who have aged out of the educational system. Our office location is in Malvern, PA however, this position is community-based. As an Employment Integration Specialist, you can expect to be out in the field with participants most of the workday. Working hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday however, some flexibility will be required depending on participant activities, events and your case load. Hourly rate is $18-$20, based on experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Science, Vocational/Rehabilitation Education, Psychology, Education or related field required
  • Experience working with adolescents and/or adults with an autism spectrum disorder preferred.
  • Experience with ABA instructional methods, case management and/or counseling experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem solving skills required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing demands of the position, customer needs, and the organization.
  • Proficient computer skills and mastery in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must possess and maintain valid driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle that you are comfortable transporiting clients in.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with adolescents and/or adults with an autism spectrum disorder preferred.
  • Experience with ABA instructional methods, case management and/or counseling experience preferred.
