About The Position

The Independent Contractor for the ITR-Community Education Program at Inspire to Rise, Inc. will play a crucial role in providing educational support and parenting services to at-risk families and individuals. This position emphasizes teamwork and a high standard of care, requiring the contractor to innovate and adapt services to meet the needs of participants. The contractor will be responsible for delivering various educational programs, conducting assessments, and tracking participant progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 1-2 years of experience working with at-risk families preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in providing educational support groups and life skills classes.
• Familiarity with correctional facility environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Parenting Education & Support Services and participate in training to become certified as a Community Educator within 30 days of contract initiation.
• Perform services as requested by participants and/or referral sources, including conducting interviews and assessments.
• Encourage participant engagement in facilitated group and individualized classes.
• Develop Service plans based on initial assessments and observations for participants referred for individualized services.
• Track participant progress and attendance in classes, documenting observations and recommendations.
• Monitor participant progress to evaluate the success of services and adapt Service plans as necessary.
• Conduct Post-Assessment & Discharge duties, including interviews and post-assessments using applicable tools.
