About The Position

The Womans Hospital of Texas is seeking a Community Educator PRN to join their team. This role involves teaching Childbirth and Parenting Classes or Support Groups under the supervision of the Director, Manager, and/or Coordinator of Childbirth and Parenting Education. The position emphasizes prioritizing patient care, advocating for patient rights, and demonstrating compassion and respect in all interactions. The educator will also be responsible for identifying performance improvement opportunities, managing time effectively, and marketing services to increase awareness and volume.

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• BLS Certification.
• ICEA or Lamaze Certified Instructor or Breastfeeding Educator or AHA CPR Instructor or Registered Nurse preferred.
• One year recent clinical or education experience required.
• Three to five years recent clinical or education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Childbirth and Parenting Classes or Support Groups.
• Prioritize the patient as number one.
