Community Education Instructor
About The Position
Knowledge of the subject taught, ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior, ability to deliver articulate presentations, ability to work independently and with a team, ability to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with staff, students and parents. If over 18 years of age, a successful background check is required. Perform intermediate skilled work, teaching youth learners for the youth programs. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Community Education Coordinator. Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty.

Responsibilities
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Adapt teaching materials and methods to be relevant to the youth learners.
- Instruct students in relevant subject matter areas.
- Represent Community Education and Cambridge-Isanti Schools in a positive way.
