BJC HealthCare is seeking a PRN instructor for community education. They will assist with education for Safety Stop locations and educating families on car seat safety, home safey, safe sleep and helmet education. They will be floating to St. Louis Children's Hospital, Progress West, CSCC West or South, or The Magic House. They also have event opportunities around the St. Louis area as well. They are required to work a min of 2 shifts per month. The hours are typically M-F starting between 8 AM-10 AM. Shifts are typically 8 hours. Weekend hours are 8 AM-1:30 on Saturdays, and 9 AM-2:45 on Sundays. Ideal applicants will have some availibility on the weekends. Educational or patient care backgrounds are great for this role as well! Within the first month of working you will be set up for the CPST (child passenger safety tech) certification as well which will be company paid but out of town for 3-5 days. After the first year they will also be offered to get their STAC (safe travel for all children) Training which is a 2 day class out of town as well.
