About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Community Education Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for diverse groups of learners. As an instructor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging educational programs that meet the needs of the community.

Requirements

• Previous teaching or instructional experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners.
• Experience in senior fitness or group exercise instruction.
• Ability to work on an as-needed basis.
• Applicants must/please provide three professional references to be considered for the role

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of adult learning principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational curriculum tailored to community interests and needs.
• Facilitate classes and workshops in a variety of subjects (e.g., arts, technology, health, etc.).
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with community partners to promote educational opportunities.
