About The Position

Are you a talented caregiver with at least three years of experience? Join us as a Community Day Support Professional and bring your creativity and passion for helping people with disabilities make connections in the community. Spend your time supporting 2-4 clients engaging in fun and meaningful activities in the community. Schedule: Mon-Fri (Day schedule); 33-40 hours/week. Pay: $20/hour + generous benefits. As a Community Day Support Professional at PAI, you will play a vital role in uplifting the lives of adults with disabilities by planning exciting community activities that spark joy and engagement! Your day will begin with a warm welcome as you pick up participants at the start of their day. You'll then embark on outings with them, exploring local attractions and engaging in enriching activities tailored to their interests. This could include visits to local museums and zoo, exploring nature trails, stopping by the farmers market, activities at the local gym or library-the possibilities are endless and are based on the unique interests of the individuals you support. Requirements Strong communication skills are essential, allowing you to engage effectively with participants, their families, and team members. You'll also need to be creative, as planning engaging activities requires innovative thinking and adaptability to meet diverse needs. Familiarity with community resources and local attractions will be a bonus, enabling you to craft memorable outings. Requirements

  • At least three (3) years of previous DSP or caregiving experience with people with disabilities or seniors
  • Experience using technology including, but not limited to, computers, iPads, tablets, tv's, and smartboards
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Strong communication skills are essential, allowing you to engage effectively with participants, their families, and team members.
  • You'll also need to be creative, as planning engaging activities requires innovative thinking and adaptability to meet diverse needs.

  • Familiarity with community resources and local attractions will be a bonus, enabling you to craft memorable outings.
