About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in community engagement or disaster services.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.
• Valid Driver's License is necessary.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Empower and support a diverse volunteer team for disaster cycle services programming.
• Assist in the implementation of disaster cycle services program activities within a designated area.
• Engage disaster volunteers who represent the communities they serve.
• Support local efforts to prepare and mobilize communities for disaster response and recovery.
• Act as the local point of contact for partners and communities.
• Participate in disaster response operations in alignment with the Disaster Cycle Services Concept of Operations.
