Post University is seeking an exceptional Community Director (CD) to join our dynamic team. This full-time, 12-month position requires the CD to live on campus and directly supervise Resident Assistants while participating in the professional staff on-call rotation. The Community Director will work closely with the Director of Campus Life to manage programming, health and safety, and community development initiatives. This role is pivotal in fostering a transformative culture that aligns with Post University's mission of making personal connections with students and enhancing their overall experience. The Community Director will be responsible for creating an atmosphere of community and wellness on campus by administering the university's philosophy and fostering co-curricular and extra-curricular experiences for students. This includes teaching life skills outside of the classroom and maintaining visibility and interaction with students. The CD will also perform administrative functions, maintain adequate records of hall and staff occurrences, and monitor the physical condition of the residence halls. Enforcing university policies and conducting investigations into behavioral issues are also key responsibilities of this role. In addition to these duties, the Community Director will assist with central office projects as assigned by the Director of Campus Life and maintain regular scheduled office hours. The position is not remote and requires a commitment to living on campus, which includes a furnished apartment with amenities such as cable and Wi-Fi, a laundry stipend, a cell phone stipend, and a full meal plan. The Community Director will also have access to a gym membership, further promoting a healthy lifestyle among staff and students.
