The Community Development Officer II is responsible for overseeing and implementing community development initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life in the community. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including local government, non-profits, and community members, to identify needs and develop programs that address those needs effectively.

  • Develop and implement community development programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with local government and community organizations to identify needs and resources.
  • Conduct community assessments to gather data and inform program development.
  • Facilitate community meetings and workshops to engage residents and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community programs and initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in community development or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with grant writing and fundraising.
  • Knowledge of local government processes and community resources.
