About The Position

SANTAQUIN CITY is accepting applications for a Full-time Community Development Directory. Duties include, but are not limited to, performing a variety of professional, administrative and managerial duties related to planning, directing, organizing, and controlling the community development department, including building inspection, code enforcement, planning and zoning, and business licensing.

Requirements

• Graduation from college with a bachelor's degree in urban planning, public administration or a closely related field
• four (4) years of progressively responsible experience performing related duties
• two (2) years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination
• Must possess a valid Utah driver's license
• Must be AICP certified within one year of hire and attend training to maintain certification
• All Santaquin City employees must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and criminal history check following a conditional offer of employment.
• Employees required to drive a motor vehicle as an essential job duty will be required to successfully complete a motor vehicle record (MVR) check following a conditional offer of employment.
