Community Development Analyst The Office of Community Engagement within the Ohio Department of Development is presently hiring for a Community Development Analyst where you will play a vital role in monitoring and supporting community agencies and training providers across Ohio. As a Community Development Analyst you will ensure compliance with state and federal requirements, provide hands-on guidance, and help improve the delivery of energy assistance programs like the Electric Partnership Program (EPP) and Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP). What you’ll be doing: Monitor local public and private non-profit agencies implementing EPP and HWAP for compliance with federal and state regulations. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned agencies; conduct on-site reviews of program files and grant activities. Assess agency compliance with regulations such as the Ohio Revised Code, Code of Federal Regulations, Development/OCE policies, EPP and HWAP manuals, and the Ohio Standard Work Specifications (SWS). Write detailed monitoring reports; identify areas of non-compliance, and outline corrective actions. Review and track agency responses to monitoring reports; ensure corrective actions are implemented and issues are resolved. Provide training and technical assistance on EPP and HWAP administrative processes to agencies, local governments, grant administrators, and other stakeholders. Process and review grant documents including proposals, amendments, budget revisions, reimbursement requests, and other administrative submissions. Evaluate agency performance and assist with performance ratings. Attend and lead energy-related meetings and training seminars; maintain records and documentation related to agency oversight. Provide professional, customer-focused service to internal and external stakeholders. Travel as required, may include overnight stays.
