Community Content Marketing Associate

AZXSeattle, WA

About The Position

You’ll be AZX’s front line to the market—the person who makes sure we show up where it matters, build genuine relationships, and keep the conversations flowing. This role blends community building, content creation, outreach execution, and event coordination into one high-energy position. You’ll work directly with AZX leadership and strategists to get the right people into the right conversations. You’ll send outreach on behalf of senior team members, coordinate our presence at industry events, support content and thought leadership efforts, and help ensure every touchpoint with the market reflects AZX’s brand and mission. This role is for someone who gets energy from people, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to help build a category-defining company from the ground up.

Requirements

  • Gets intense energy from networking, events, and being around people. You’re the person who leaves a conference with 50 new contacts and follows up with all of them.
  • Strong communicator with editorial judgment—you can write a compelling email, spot a weak headline, and know what resonates with a senior audience.
  • Tireless work ethic. Events are a grind and outreach is a volume game—you embrace both.
  • Organized and reliable. You juggle multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders without dropping balls.
  • Bias to community over content—you’d rather build a relationship than publish a blog post, but you can do both.
  • Comfortable with AI tools and eager to use them to move faster. You don’t need to code, but you should be a power user of modern tools.
  • Mission aligned—you care about climate, energy, and using technology to solve hard problems. This isn’t just a job.
  • Action in ambiguity—you figure out what to do when nobody tells you, and you take ownership of the outcome.
  • Intellectual humility—you’d rather find the right answer than be right.
  • Kind candor—you care about your teammates and speak honestly, without creating unnecessary conflict.
  • Highly productive—you have a track record of getting a lot done.
