AvalonBay Communities is searching for a dedicated and highly organized Leasing Consultant to take on the daily operations of the leasing team at one of our apartment communities and ensure our residents experience nothing short of luxury living. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a leasing or customer service role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the leasing process and assist residents in finding their ideal apartment.
  • Conduct personalized tours and provide tailored recommendations based on individual tastes.
  • Create excitement through creative marketing campaigns and continuous outreach.
  • Follow up with prospective residents to provide updates and maintain engagement.
  • Build relationships with residents to foster a sense of community.
