Community Coaches are referred to Human Resource Services for consideration by the individual Athletic Directors at each middle or high school. Applications completed by individuals who have not been referred by a specific school will not be considered. In order to be approved as a community coach for Henry County Schools, you must have the following: 1. Complete application with required references 2. Acceptable criminal background check completed by Henry County Schools 4. GHSA Certification in PREPARE/First Aid and Principles of Coaching 5. Current, valid CPR certification 6. Community Coaching Agreement, W-9 form, I-9 form, and other necessary forms, as required. Once you have been referred by a school athletic director, please complete the online application. Once your application is reviewed and verified, you will be contacted with instructions on proceeding through the approval process. Please note: COMMUNITY COACH APPLICANTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN SPORT PRACTICES OR COACH IN ANY CAPACITY UNTIL FINAL APPROVAL IS RECEIVED FROM HUMAN RESOURCE SERVICES. COACHING PRIOR TO APPROVAL WILL TERMINATE THE COMMUNITY COACHING PROCESS AND WILL RESULT IN THE COMMUNITY COACH BEING INELIGIBLE FOR FURTHER CONSIDERATION.
