Community Coach- Varsity Boys Lacrosse Job Title: Community Coach- Varsity Boys Lacrosse Status: Seasonal Reports to: Head Coach/ Athletic Director School Overview FRA is a coeducational independent school in Nashville offering pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade students a challenging educational experience within an inclusive Christian community. Summary Teaches lacrosse to upper school students/teams by performing the following duties. Essential Functions The tasks, duties, and responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to: Directly supervises students in Lacrosse Activities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the school's policies and applicable laws Responsibilities include interviewing, testing, selecting, and training students; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining students; addressing complaints and resolving problems Support Christian mission of Franklin Road Academy. Performing tryout if applicable Assisting to form team schedule Aiding in keeping web page up to date Help submit transportation request Communicate with Athletic Director & Facilities Director for game day set up Attend all coaches' meetings Communicate frequently with parents Qualifications Education/Experience Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university preferred or in college currently pursuing degree.
