Community Canvasser – Collect signatures for a progressive ballot initiative (24/hr + bonuses)
About The Position
Help us gather signatures in San Diego to qualify a local measure that protects essential services like emergency response and disaster preparedness for our communities. From now through March, our team will engage directly with voters at high-traffic community locations to collect signatures and build support. This is face-to-face petitioning at public sites, not door-to-door canvassing or fundraising. This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in the following areas: Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Work, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise.
Requirements
- Employees must be eligible to work in the US.
- Upon hire, everyone will be required to present original, and unexpired documents from the Lists of Acceptable Documents to complete the I-9 form verification.
