About The Position

Damar Support Services is seeking talented Licensed Therapists to work as independent contractors, focusing on children and families with a history of abuse and neglect. These services are court-ordered and cater to families involved with DCS (CHINS) or probation. The interventions aim to address the issues that led families to the attention of DCS. This role offers the flexibility of being your own boss, allowing you to determine your own schedule and set your own hours, along with competitive rates and weekly pay.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related human services field
• License required: LMHCA, LMHC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LMFTA
• At least 21 years old
• Valid Indiana driver's license
• No felony convictions or other criminal offenses

Nice To Haves

• Experience with domestic violence cases

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based therapy
• Conduct home-based casework
• Engage fathers in the therapeutic process
• Support resource parents
• Educate parents on effective parenting techniques
• Assess parenting and family functioning
• Deliver comprehensive services including TF-CBT, MI, and CBT
