About The Position

We are looking for a visionary leader to bridge the gap between service delivery and life-changing outcomes. As our Community-Based Support (CBS) Manager , you will oversee our team of Mentors and spearhead our Community and Employment initiatives. You won't just be managing schedules; you will be coaching a team to help our clients find belonging, purpose, and professional fulfillment. The Three Pillars of Your Role You will oversee a comprehensive suite of services designed to foster independence: Respite & Mentorship: Overseeing in-home and community-based mentors to ensure high-quality care, safety, and meaningful engagement for families. Community Networking: Guiding mentors to successfully integrate clients into local social circles, clubs, and civic life. Supported Employment: Developing partnerships with local businesses, supervising job coaches, and ensuring clients find - and keep - meaningful competitive employment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in disability services, social work, or vocational rehabilitation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with Supported Employment (SE) models and job coaching.
  • Valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
  • Strong proficiency in digital tools (scheduling software, CRM, or case management systems).
  • High Technical Aptitude: You possess a natural curiosity for software and a "figure-it-out" mentality when navigating new platforms.
  • Google Workspace Mastery: Preference is given to candidates who are experts in the Google Workspace ecosystem (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Admin). You should understand how to leverage these tools for maximum efficiency and real-time collaboration.
  • Digital Agility: Whether it’s automating a workflow, managing complex file architectures, or troubleshooting your own stack, you stay ahead of the curve.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship Recruit, train, and supervise a team of Community Support Mentors. Conduct regular "shadow shifts" to provide real-time coaching and quality assurance. Manage scheduling to ensure a perfect match between mentor personality and client needs.
  • Supported Employment Oversight Job Development: Actively network with local employers to identify inclusive job opportunities. Vocational Strategy: Work with clients to identify their strengths and career goals. Retention Support: Oversee job coaching to ensure long-term success for both the employee and the employer.
  • Program Operations Ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards and reflects client progress. Act as the primary point of contact for families, providing updates and troubleshooting challenges. Facilitate monthly team meetings to share best practices and "wins."
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Managers or Directors to support the evolving needs of the individuals and the agency.
  • The expectation to work additional hours beyond your primary schedule, availability between 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, to meet the needs of our clients, address emergencies, or ensure operational excellence.
