About The Position

We have an immediate opening for a physician to provide patient and family consultation services for our Palliative Care Program, with primary focus on building a robust community-based program and partial rotation with a local community hospital. S/he will act as a medical resource person to the interdisciplinary team and assure overall quality and continuity of the Palliative Care Program using best practices and evaluating patient care outcomes. Additionally, s/he supervises the nurse practitioner assigned to the program and provides consultations, follow up care and management of the palliative care program patients. KeystoneCare is a Medicare certified, CHAP accredited hospice, palliative and home care organization located in Wyndmoor, PA serving patients in the Greater Delaware Valley area. Requirements

Doctor of Medicine or osteopathy
Licensed in PA
Expertise in the medical care and pain management of terminally ill individuals

Nice To Haves

Specialty in internal medicine or family practice is preferred
Accreditation by the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) or other accreditation body
