The Community Based Housing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Office of Mental Health (OMH) licensed Treatment Apartment Program (Txt AP) and the Supportive Housing Program (SHP) in the counties where these programs operate. The Supervisor collaborates with the Community Based Services Program Manager to ensure program compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements, while delivering high-quality, person-centered support to individuals with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) experiencing homelessness. This role involves a key leadership function, including supporting, guiding, and mentoring program staff, fostering a collaborative team environment, and ensuring clients receive services that promote housing stability and wellness. Key duties also include assisting with assessments, overseeing tenancy supports, crisis intervention, landlord collaboration, and community resource coordination.
